Hello everyone❤️ I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and I hope that you all have a Happy New Year❤️ May this year be much better than the last🙏 I hope you and your families are all safe and well during these times. These times that we are facing are very difficult but together we can get through them, one day at a time❤️

Its been a while since I have uploaded a new blog post. The last 2 months have been sooo busy. I was fundraising from the middle of November until a few days before Christmas for Team Hope's Christmas Shoebox Appeal. My fundraiser ended on €430 which is amazing😁 Thank you so much to everyone who donated and shared, I appreciate it more than you know and so does the amazing children who received their shoeboxes filled with gifts this Christmas🎁 Team Hope was posting pictures of the children receiving their shoeboxes throughout the Christmas period and it melted my heart, they looked so happy🥺 Team Hope is such an amazing charity and I will definitely be fundraising with them each Christmas going forward.

I have also been working all throughout the Christmas and New Year period. I know that a lot of you may have been off work for the holidays or due to lockdown situations. How has your time off been? I hope that you got to relax and enjoy it😁 I am working full time on the Covid helpline with the HSE and it has been quite busy as you can imagine with the current situation. I have always been a person who does everything they can to help others so my job is well suited to me. My work colleagues are the best as well❤️ They are so supportive and helpful so it makes doing the job a lot easier. I have been working from home which can be hard at times and very repetitive. I wake up, work, eat, sleep and do the same thing everyday😂 I know that many people are working from home now with the Level 5 lockdown in place. How have you been feeling about working from home? If any of you have any tips on how to break the repetitiveness each day or any tips on working from home, message me on Instagram the link to my profile is attached to my blog page because I honestly don't know what to be doing to mix things up😂

I was working on New Years Eve and New Years Day. I didn't do anything to celebrate New Years which was no different to any other year. I get bad anxiety around New Years Eve as I feel like the whole aspect of it is over hyped. Does anyone else feel this way or get anxious around New Years? I feel like there's so many expectations to have New Years resolutions and big plans for the year but with everything going on the with Coronavirus, we're just taking each day as it comes and hoping for the best at this point😂 The main thing is that we made it to the New Year and that in itself is a huge blessing🙏 I am very grateful❤️

It was my birthday on the 3rd of January🎂 I turned 22...again🤣 On a real note though I cant believe I'm 23 already, I don't know where the years have gone😩 anyone elses birthday on the 3rd of January? If so, happy belated birthday❤️ having your birthday during a lockdown ain't it, there's literally nothing to do😂 I chilled and ate Chinese food with my friend Lizzie on Saturday and then on Sunday I chilled at home. My sister Ceara got me a cake for my birthday and it was sooo nice😍 she spoilt me and made my birthday special despite the current situation we are all in. She is the best, I'm truly blessed and would be lost without her❤️

I will be back with a new post soon, I thought it would be nice to do a little catch up and fill you all in on what I have been getting up to over the last two months😁 I'm working on a few things at the moment so hopefully I will be able to share them with you all shortly👀

Until next time🤗

Much Love,

Shannon💛
